The Running Ground
I finished reading The Running Ground by Nicholas Thompson today. I will spend the weekend writing a lengthier post about it.
For now, I want to express how intellectually rich the book is. The Running Ground is a heartfelt story of father and son, showing how their shared love for running connects them across generations and shapes identity, resilience, and love.
I made numerous margin notes and did some thoughtful pondering. I’m not a runner but a walker—still, the book resonated greatly with me.
P/S: I’ve kept my full notes private, so nothing spoils your reading experience. What resonates with me may land differently for you, and that’s the beauty of it. The photos here are just a small glimpse of the work behind the scenes.
